Leah Brosig, Owner & Opperator

The Chaparral Ranch is a family-owned and operated ranch, founded in 1961 by Joe and Nancy Brosig. The ranch is currently run by Leah Brosig and her family. Leah is retired from years in the medical industry and has returned to her home on the ranch to enjoy ranch life and all that Concho County has to offer. She has also enjoyed years of involvement with Texas 4-H, County Stockshows, and the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

Most visits to The Chaparral Ranch will begin with a friendly greeting from the registered family boxers. Deer, Turkey, Quail, and Dove are plentiful on the ranch and you are likely to find cattle, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, and a friendly white tail buck mingling near the house and barn complex.
